Louise Duval

MA, LPC, CAC, AACC, LAC 

Louise Duval graduated from Furman University with a BA in Psychology in 1999 and went on to earn Masters Degrees in Marriage and Family Counseling and Christian Education from Southwestern Seminary in 2002. Louise worked for several years at LRADAC in the women's intensive outpatient program helping women struggling with substance use. After that Louise spent 11 years working at Prisma Health Counseling (Formerly Palmetto Health Counseling) where she worked with clients with a variety of issues. Louise has experience working with many populations including men, women, couples, families, and children. She also has experience helping people with many different issues including pre-marital/marriage counseling (trained in Prepare/Enrich), substance use, spiritual issues, anxiety, depression, and women's issues. Louise is a licensed professional counselor (LPC), licensed addictions counselor (LAC), and certified addictions counselor (CAC). Louise is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC), and South Carolina Association of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors (SCAADAC). .

Hope is not believing that something good will happen or believing that something bad won’t happen, but believing that no matter what happens God is still on the throne and he is still walking through it with us.
