Dr. Sierra Barnes is a licensed professional counselor associate based in Camden, South Carolina. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in English from Morris College in 2010. In 2014, she completed her Master of Education in School Counseling at South Carolina State University. Dr. Barnes went on to receive her PhD in Counselor Education & Supervision from Capella University in 2020.

With nine years of experience as a school counselor, Dr. Barnes took on the role of Director of School Counseling in Fairfield County School District. She later became a Clinical Director for Pyramid Healthcare before moving into private practice. Currently, she serves as an adjunct professor at Liberty University in the School of Behavioral Science while also counseling clients across the state of South Carolina. She offers both telehealth and in-person sessions.

Dr. Barnes specializes in several therapeutic methods, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). She provides services to children, adolescents, and adults, integrating other modalities as needed. Her areas of expertise include treating anxiety, trauma, and substance use disorders.
