Katelynn Kolb
MA, LPC/A
Katelynn’s usual fee is $100 per session. She does not take insurance, but offers Sliding Scale.
I graduated from Messiah University in May 2024. Since then I have developed a deep passion for anxiety, depression, OCD, Autism Spectrum, trauma/PTSD, and family therapy. My goal is to promote healing and restoration from brokenness within oneself and with others. It is so rewarding to see clients become unstuck from unhealthy ways of thinking to seeing life in a hopeful, new way. I also have a passion for working with children, teens, and families as they navigate these important years together and foster healthy communication and relationships. I completed a 40-hour training to be a certified autism spectrum disorder clinical specialist.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and 3 sons, friends and traveling.
Approach to Therapy:
My main approach is cognitive behavioral therapy and Internal Family Systems. I want to help my clients see the relationship between our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors to make an impacting change in their life. As a Christian, I also like to incorporate spiritually integrated psychotherapy, however, I am open to working with clients from any spirituality. When working with children and families, I will utilize a family systems lens. I have served on mission trips through my church and have developed a multicultural lens to help people from many different backgrounds. Overall, my sessions are person-centered to foster a therapeutic relationship for the client to feel safe.
