Do you have a mental health diagnosis? If so, recognize this reality, but watch out for letting this become your entire reality. Know that your symptoms and challenges are real, but remember that this is only one part of who you are. You are more than a diagnosis, more than your symptoms. You are also a valuable individual created in God’s image. Defining yourself by a diagnosis may also cause you to excuse poor choices or behaviors and to feel helpless or hopeless to change. Growth and healing are real, and while you may not be able to change what got you here, you can change what you do from here. You can change where you go from here!
