Ashley Tapp
MA, LPC/A, NCC
Life gets tough sometimes and the last thing you want to hear is critical judgements, to be told to "get over it" or worse, you feel completely invalidated when you are simply trying to express yourself. If you are looking for a safe space to unpack and work through what is challenging, creating a space that fosters trust and emotional safety for you is my priority.
I believe in utilizing an integrative counseling approach by incorporating techniques from:
Cognitive behavior therapy (CBT)
Acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT)
Person-centered therapy
Holistic therapy
Solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT)
Although I identify as a Christian, I view everyone's wellness journey as being specific and unique to one's personal experience. Thus, I believe in meeting you where you are and moving forward from there. I am not here to judge you or to change you. I am here to help and support you as you heal and navigate through the challenges that you are facing.
I support those who are working through:
Relationship problems
Infidelity
Depression
Anxiety
Anger
Dysfunctional communication
Low-self esteem
Schizophrenia
Grief
